Explanation
LCA-D strain gauge amplifiers measure the weight of various tanks and similar devices, allowing remote monitoring of all measurements in the most cost-effective way.
The weights of one or more units weighed by strain gauges can be monitored both on the LCA-D devices mounted next to the weighing system, and remotely via a computer.
LCA-D features the possibility of computer setting of all parameters via the Modbus communication protocol. Built-in Modbus communication provides remote access and parameter setting. This allows monitoring and programming of several LCA devices connected to the same communication bus from a single control point, such as a PC or PLC.
Two software have been developed to communicate with the LCA devices. The first one, Dlms_VP (Digital Load Cell Measurement System Virtual Panel), can communicate with only one LCA device and set all parameters remotely. The second, Dlms_NW (Digital Load Cell Measurement System Network), allows monitoring of several LCA amplifiers simultaneously. Through Dlms_NW, several networked computers can display the same data.
The device’s aluminum housing allows it to be used even in dusty, humid and corrosive environments.
